Pulling Function

How It Pulls
The tractor pulls by winding wire rope onto a drum. The engine drives the gearbox, the gearbox turns the drum, and the drum winds the rope. As the rope winds, it pulls whatever is attached at the other end. The traction force depends on which gear is selected. In first gear, pulling force reaches 60KN at 11.7 meters per minute. In fourth gear, pulling force drops to 12KN but speed rises to 55.6 meters per minute.

Seven Grooves Protect the Rope
The drum has seven grooves. The grooves guide the wire rope as it winds, keeping each wrap separated from the next. When rope wraps overlap, they press against each other and cause friction and wear. The grooved design prevents this overlap. The rope winds in an orderly pattern, reducing internal wear and extending the rope's service life. The grooved drum also makes the winding process smoother and reduces the chance of the rope snagging during operation.

It Moves on Its Own Wheels

Travel Speed and Ground Clearance
The travel speed ranges from 3 to 13 kilometers per hour, depending on the gear selected. Ground clearance is 150mm, which allows the tractor to roll over uneven ground without getting stuck on small obstacles. The wheelbase is 1040mm. On tower erection projects, the work moves from one tower location to the next. A machine that can drive itself between locations saves the time and equipment required to load and unload it.

Four-Speed Gearbox

Two Forward and Two Reverse Gears
The gearbox has four gears total: two forward and two reverse. Each gear provides a different combination of traction force and speed. Lower gears produce more force at slower speeds. Higher gears produce less force at faster speeds. Reverse gears allow the tractor to back away from the load or reposition without turning around.

Matching Gear to Task
Heavy loads that require high pulling force use first or second gear. Light loads that need to move quickly use third or fourth gear. When pulling a cable that is already moving freely, fourth gear moves it quickly. When starting a heavy load from a standstill, first gear provides the force needed to overcome inertia. Reverse first gear provides 6.2 meters per minute, and reverse second gear provides 21.3 meters per minute.
